Exhaustion syndrome leaves measurable changes in the brain

Exhaustion syndrome, also called burnout and exhaustion depression, leaves objectively measurable changes in the brain -- including reduced activity in the frontal lobes and altered regulation of the stress hormone cortisol, according to new research from Sweden.
